Preventing No-Shows
(This is an excerpt from a University Of Metaphysical Sciences course at www.umsonline.org,
please feel free to visit the school website)
Take the time before you actually see a client for a pre-interview to make him or her comfortable. This will give you the opportunity to address his or her concerns and questions. Ascertain the client’s needs and discuss specifics on how you can support him or her. Send a welcome letter, business card, brochure, and intake information prior to the first appointment. Confirm appointments by telephone the day before or send a reminder postcard that includes your cancellation policy.
