Be professional, punctual, and prepared. Answer the phone and return calls within 24 hours. Send thank you cards for referrals. Set clear boundaries and don’t let personal life interfere with business. Keep accurate records. Keep confidentiality. Be aware of client’s likes and dislikes. Keep your personality and style intact, for who you are makes you good at what you do. Make integrity a priority; it is true professionalism. Sohnen-Moe states, “Integrity is the quality of a state of being complete, whole, honest and sincere. Integrity is keeping your agreements, being true to your principles, and being true to yourself.
